In his foreword, Alain Jouffroy commented on his discovery of the photographer: 'I am in fact lucky enough to have met this passer-by/photographer/wanderer, who photographs the elsewhere everywhere, in the most ordinary places, the most everyday streets, at any time of the day or night, without wanting to change anything at all, because no matter where, when or how the passers-by pass, go forward, or dress, what’s happening is always taking place elsewhere… without the slightest notion of exoticism entering his mind for even a moments.'
